Amanda Riley is a wife, a mother and a Christian whose community - locally in California and online - pulled together in their droves to donate close to £100,000 to support her family after Amanda’s stage 4 cancer diagnosis. But, after documenting her battle online and captivating thousands, an anonymous tip was sent to an investigative producer, who after 5 years, helped police put Amanda behind bars. The story has now been heard around the world thanks to broadcaster Charlie Webster’s chart-topping podcast ‘Scamanda’ - which is now being turned into a docuseries.
