Student Dr. Sean Bhalla presenting in the MKRC Journal Club through the national neuroscience organization NERVE. Presentation titled "Hypoxia-induced improvement in neurological function in cervical spinal cord injuries". 11-18-22 SD Sean Bhalla is an MD-MPH candidate at Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. He received his BS from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. He is currently a third-year medical student and hopes to specialize in neurosurgery. His research includes traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative disease, and functional neurosurgery. As a medical student, Sean serves as the president of the PLFSOM Student Interest group in Neurosurgery as well as the AANS student chapter. He is currently a MSNTC's NERVE group member during the 2022-2023 academic year and hopes to pursue a research fellowship in the upcoming year.
