We return to Johnston Canyon in the fall of 2022 to find major renovations to the Upper Falls section of the exploration ramp/trail. Half of the canyon was closed to visitors but this wasn't much of an issue since we've explored this canyon (almost preferred in the winter) before and made a video. Johnston Canyon Ice Hike:    • Incredible winter vertical ice adventure |...   Instead of focusing on the canyon, we bypassed it and headed up the canyon to explore an amazing & unique series of ponds that are fed by underground springs. This location has been quite popular over the years and Parks Canada has tried hard to keep the area from getting trampled by tourist with trails and bridges.
