Hello everyone!! I love soup this time of year, and today I wanted to show you guys how to make another one of my favorites!! This recipe is so yummy! I think you'll love it!! Cheddar Vegetable Chowder Ingredients: 3 quarts of water 2 Cups diced up chicken breasts (optional) 1 to 2 jars of Cheese Whiz 4 to 6 Bouillon cubes WITH chicken OR 12 Bouillon cubes WITHOUT chicken 2 Cups Finely Chopped Carrots 2 Cups Finely Chopped Celery 1 Large Yellow Onion (finely chopped) 1 ½ Cups Flour ½ package of frozen peas 1 ½ cups butter Optional: 1 package frozen broccoli or your other favorite frozen veggies, bread bowl Directions: 1) Bring water to a boil 2) Add chicken and 4 to 6 bouillon cubes If not using chicken, add 12 bouillon cubes to the boiling water 3) Once chicken is cooked completely, remove from pot, put on plate, and put in fridge to cool before shredding or chopping. (You don't want to burn your fingers!) 4) While that is cooling chop carrots, onions and celery in a food processor. 5) Add vegies to the pot. Cook on a low boil until tender 6) In a frying pan on low to medium heat add butter 7) Once melted begin to add flour with a whisk. Add a little bit at a time, mixing constantly. Make sure flour is completely dissolved into the butter before adding the next scoop 8) Add butter and flour paste mix to soup with a whisk 9) Add Cheese Wiz to soup 10) Add in frozen peas and any other frozen vegetables you would like to add. You can add the shredded chicken at this time as well. That is it! Serve in a bread bowl for the perfect cold season comfort soup! Follow me!
