Options for Maintaining Calcium & Alkalinity in a Reef Tank

You have three main ways to maintain Calcium and Alkalinity levels in your reef tank: 1 - Two Part solutions, 2 - Kalkwasser, and 3 - a Calcium reactor. Most people end up going with option #3 - it's the most affordable long term with the least chance of messing up your tank. Kalkwasser is great if you also have a problem with low PH - but it can significantly change your tank's PH and you can only dose so much of it. Newer calcium reactors on the market like the DaStaCo remove a lot of the tuning work you need to put into old reactors, but these come at a price - they're expensive! I'm still figuring out the best HDR settings... only really trying to use them for the videos that contain lots of coral. This looked perfect in Premiere - and then exported very dark.
