Beginning the Year with God! Spiritual Gifts for the Common Good: I Corinthians 12:4–11

This week we continue with week three of our January Sermon Series, Beginning the Year with God! Is designed to set the spiritual tone for the year—grounded, formative, and outward-facing. We welcome Adam Buzard as he invites us to consider the spiritual gifts we might offer for the common good. When we join The United Methodist Church, we affirm that we will support the church with our Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service, and Witness. It moves us from being with God, to being shaped by God, to being sent by God. In essence, it is a rule of life by moving us into a pathway where we experience God’s faithful presence! Series Memory Verse: “Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus.” —Colossians 3:17 (NRSV)
