Ahsan Naveed – Physical Rehab Patient Story | UAE

Never had Ahsan imagined, returning from his CA classes one day in 2015, that he would be in an accident that would cost him his leg. His bike slipped and he slid under a truck – despite fervent efforts, doctors couldn’t save his leg; it had to be amputated. Ahsan faced great difficulty in his movement – he also found it challenging to look ahead in life; he had lost hope. His parents too were greatly pained by this great loss. Indus Hospital & Health Network helped Ahsan find his feet again. Fitting him with a prosthetic limb, IHHN helped Ahsan learn to walk with the help of Physical Rehabilitation treatment. Whenever Ahsan faltered, IHHN doctors would encourage him to rise and try again – and he believes this was a turning point in his life. Ahsan found the courage to overcome obstacles, regain confidence and truly live again. Not only did he go to university, but also opened up his own shop.
