Their health regeneration is simply too high while damage dealt is capped. I only managed to dismount two bots because one was wearing cloth and the other got stuck on terrain. I'm in 8.3 equivalent gear by the way, but not like it matters anymore. I really have no idea why this activity even exists and why nothing has been done except handicap the 8.3s/8.4s who were actively trying to stop these bots solo. And if you think you and your buddies can stop them, think again: 1. These bots regularly change factions (some bots on oxen used to even flag for Caerleon, like the ones you see in the outro). So, either you change factions regularly as well and keep losing your faction rank progress, or you'll have to ride two cities away just to gank the bots there. And if you're in same faction as them, there's just nothing you can do about it. 2. 3-crate transports drop 6-7 hearts when knocked down. It's awful silver/hour even as a solo, considering it takes that much time and effort to dismount a grizzly now. The profit is even worse if you're dismounting the bot as a group. 3. Bots are online at irregular timers, usually during off-peak hours. And when the bot owners come back, like in this video, you'll just have to give up, since again, there's nothing you can do now. I've dismounted bots with Chinese names before, and they go offline for 20 minutes once you dismount one of them. It's incredibly inconsistent. 4. If you're gonna try dismounting bots on grizzlies with plate armor as a solo, you'll probably need 8.4, preferably awakened, with berserk/acid/poison potions, maybe even enchanted beef stew. You'll need to actually know the route the bots take, and time your damage window perfectly so that your combo ends as they reach the gate to minimise their health regen. Hell, some weapons just can't be used anymore, like bear paws, so you'll need high specs in a different weapon like the astral staff. Even then it's still not a guaranteed dismount. And at that point, just give up and do something else.
