Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit is a 1998 racing video game developed for PlayStation by EA Canada and Microsoft Windows by EA Seattle, and published by Electronic Arts. It is the third major installment in the Need for Speed franchise, incorporating police pursuits as a major part of gameplay. The PlayStation version was released on March 25, 1998 I remember going from NFS 2 to NFS III HP was an absolute massive jump in quality. Everything looked great, played great, and the tracks were good! I couldnt believe how good this looked on my PS1 back in 1998. Also the cop chases were a lot of fun. The game also had some cool secret cars & secret tracks to unlock, basically it had plenty to keep you busy. The game reviewed very well on PS1, and I believe the PC version did the same.
