Al Petteway was happily reunited with his Preston Thompson guitar after a short time apart. October 9, 2020 was such a pleasant-weather day, that Al thought it would be the perfect time to put together little video for Preston's family, in honor of Preston's luthier-legacy. Somehow, Al and his Thompson guitar managed to get through playing both tunes outside without getting beaned by kamikaze acorns. That is quite a feat this time of year, when gardeners and hikers are often tempted to wear helmets when they toil and trek outside. ;-) At the 2:10 mark, Al starts playing "Mama Bear Rag" , then segue-ways into a slightly different version of "Downhill Ride."
