Buffy has her Vet appointment booked on the outskirts of Weisbaden, an area we chose because of its large American population and the availability of an English speaking vet. With most commercial Aires closed down either due to the season or Covid 19 we were lucky to find a free stop near Openhiem on the Rhine. Womoland was technically closed but a note on the website said you could park in the carpark, so we did, but there were still several vans parked up. We walked to the mighty Rhine and saw how commercial this part of the river is as many large barges headed along its length. The town is situated high on a hill to avoid the floodwaters and under the streets are many Kms of Medieval Keller's and passageways. none of which were open but information boards gave a hint of what lay bellow our feet. A quiet and comfortable morning followed before we set off to find the Vets. We are Helen , Alan and our mad dog Buffy. We are new to motor homing and learning as we go ! We are planning many more adventures in our Rimor Motorhome on a Ford Transit Mk7 Chassis which we are slowly personalising to our needs. So why not tag along and hopefully be inspired or just to see how a couple of newbies cope. Veni , Vidi, Bibi = We came, we saw ,we drank!
