This video shows how to install think-or-swim indicators, scans, quote columns, and strategies using thinkscript sharing links. Thinkorswim sharing links look like this: https://tos.mx/XXXXXX, where the Xs are replaced by the special code for that particular script. To install the thinkscript associated with your link, there are 2 methods available. Method 1: On most browsers, you can simply click the link, and then confirm the import by clicking the big green button on the following page. But if the browser gives you a 404 error or asks you to reinstall Thinkorswim for all users or something of that nature, ignore it and move on to method 2. Method 2: Select, copy, and paste the link's URL (again it should look like this: https://tos.mx/XXXXXX ) into the SETUP / OPEN SHARED ITEM menu selection in the top right corner of the Thinkorswim platform. That menu will popup a window to paste the link into. Then you simply click PREVIEW, then OK, then RENAME to give it a name you'll remember instead of the randomly assigned one, and then OK again. Now you're all set. You can access newly imported thinkscripts from the Studies / Edit Studies menu in Charts for indicators and strategies, or the small menu on the right side of Stockhacker for scans, or for quote columns you can simply right-click the column header and choose Customize and find the column name on the left and double click it to add it to the active columns on the right.
