What a historic and unforgettable win, culminating in their first-ever All-Ireland crown and completing a remarkable treble of county, provincial, and national glory with as captain Paul Geaney said, "3 Senior Cups crossing the Blennerville bridge this year." After claiming the Kerry SFC and their maiden Munster title in dramatic fashion, Dingle carried momentum into the All-Ireland series. They faced a stern test in the semi-final against Dublin and Leinster champions Ballyboden St Enda's at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh. Trailing heavily early on, Dingle mounted a stunning comeback, overcoming a significant deficit to secure a thrilling extra-time victory on a scoreline of 1 - 26 (29) to 1 - 24 (27). Key contributions came from the Geaney cousins, Paul, Dylan, and Conor, along with standout performances from Tom O'Sullivan and others, showcasing resilience and again that never-say-die spirit. The All-Ireland final on Sunday 18th January in Croke Park pitted Dingle against St Brigid's of Roscommon in a classic encounter. What a battle! Full of drama: Dingle trailed at half-time but fought back fiercely. Ruaidhrí Fallon’s sensational two-pointer with the last kick of normal time forced extra time (level at 0 - 17 (17) to 1 - 14 (17). In extra time, the game remained on a knife-edge, with Tom O'Sullivan landing crucial scores to drag Dingle level again. Then, in the final moments, Mikey Geaney stepped up to fire over the dramatic winning point with the last kick of the game, sealing a 0 - 23 (23) to 1 - 19 (22) victory after extra time. This marked Dingle's maiden All-Ireland Senior Club Football title, with captain Paul Geaney lifting the Andy Merrigan Cup to the sounds of 'Old Comrades'. The campaign capped a dream run for Dingle, etching their name into GAA history and sparking huge celebrations back in Dingle. A phenomenal achievement Daingean Uí Chúis Abú!
