Sam Clark, University of New England, speaks about insights from the Low Methane Beef Project. Sam Clark is a Professor in Animal Genetics at the University of New England’s School of Environmental and Rural Science. Sam is interested in the prediction of breeding value and the optimal use of information within animal breeding programs. Sam is currently involved in research regarding genetic evaluation and genomic selection in sheep, beef cattle and dairy cattle. This presentation was given at the North West Beef Producers Forum held in Tamworth in May 2025. This event was delivered by North West Local Land Services, supported by Teys Australia.
