"repercussions of the preceding" instrumental from the hollywood autopsy LP originally released in August 1983. nostalgia is a strange lens. faded, fuzzy, brutal. at the end this piece needed to just drift away. the sound here is recorded open air, with our 1983 lp playing on a cheap stereo. did some garageband eq/compression to get the guitars crisper. bob's mosrite 12 with the old gibson humbuckers rools. beautiful. bob thought gunnar hedman played guitar on here as well but i can't really hear it. this was recorded on bob's 2track using used 1/4" language tapes. the voices at the beginning just happened to be there when we ff'd to start a new track. they were recorded on a quarter track machine so there is one forward and one backward track playing simultaneously. i like how it gives lyrical content to the instrumental. camera is a brownie reg8mm with expired kodachrome. no storyboard, time signature, etc. so be it.
