Sridevi Nrithyalaya, led by Dr. Sheela Unnikrishnan, collaborated with renowned Harikatha exponent and Carnatic vocalist Srimathi Vishakha Hari to present a unique performance titled: "Shakti: An Ode to Devi" The performance was a Nritya Harikatha—a blend of narrative storytelling (Harikatha) and expressive classical dance (Bharatanatyam). Event Details • Theme: "Shakti: An Ode to Devi" was dedicated to the festival of Navaratri and celebrated the divine feminine trinity: Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati. • Venue: The Studio Theatre, NMACC (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre), Mumbai. • Date: The performance took place on Sunday, September 14, 2025. • Format: The production integrated the philosophical and scriptural stories related to the Goddesses, narrated and sung by Vishakha Hari, with the vibrant choreography and precision of the Sridevi Nrithyalaya Bharatanatyam ensemble.
