They say nothing beats Grandma’s apple pie, but this mare might just give it a run for its money! Sandy is a genuine, sweet soul that meets you at the gate every morning. She is the kind everyone wants in their barn, but only a handful find. She is an 8 yr old AQHA mare standing 14.2 hands and has seen it all. This mare has been in our barn since her 2 year old year and has become our go to for anything. She has seen country from Texas to Arizona and everywhere in between. From branding in rough country over many miles to long days doctoring wheat cattle, she knows what a full days work looks like and has the heart to go with it. Sandy has carried models in numerous photoshoots and knows her way around a trail as well. She’s suitable for all stages of riders and stays extremely gentle with any time off. From catching cows to the flashy lights of town, there’s nothing she can’t handle. She’s gentle to pack young or old ones, but handy enough to still use and rope on!
