Bike Multiactivity TOUR What are we going to do ? Moutain biking (1st part) 40min/6km : The tour begins by taking a short drive to our route-head where we start cycling through the beautiful hills of Santander. We will be surrounded by farms, coffee plantations and even horse ranches, whilst being exposed to some truly spectacular views. Then we head down to the small village of Curiti. Culture & tradition : Once in Curiti village, we have the opportunity to discover the local craft works, one of the oldest industries of this region. After the city tour and the workshop visit, we will enjoy some local pastries before heading up to the river with the bikes. Moutain biking (2nd part) 1h/5km : We gently follow the road down the village before starting the uphill leading to the natural pool of Zamba. This path winds along the hill and provides us an amazing view of the surrounding countryside. The ascent is about 1h for 200m (700ft) height. Natural pools : A short hike will bring us down to the canyon. There we will refresh and enjoy a swim in the river and waterfall jumping in the natural pool of Zamba. Trekking : After this refreshing moment, we follow the upstream water for 1km until a second natural pool which is called Paraiso (paradise). In this beautiful and quiet place we’ll relish a picnic with local products. Then, it’s time to have some rest, enjoy the sun or having fun with the natural rock slides and waterfalls surrounding us. Moutain biking (3rd part) 45min/6km : We slowly walk back up to the main path and cycle down the hills for about 30 minutes until Curiti. We will have time there to do some shopping in the local craft shop before driving back to San Gil by car.
