Turn off the heat and cool 30 minutes or overnight [6:10] Cochineal Extract [7:32] Measure out the cochineal extract measure out 1 gram 3 times (1 g per 100 g yarn) [9:36] Dyeing with cochineal (Alum vs Alum + cream or tartar mordants) Just Alum Mordant - 8 cups of water + 1 g cochineal + 100 g yarn [15:18] What might I expect to see?
