Always wear proper safety gear including: Full-face helmet (recommended for ice) Thermal gloves (hands get dangerously cold) Body armor (falls on ice are harder) Knee and elbow pads- Appropriate winter clothingAdditional winter safety tips:- Start on flat, clear surfaces Avoid steep hills with ice Expect reduced battery range (20-30% less) Let battery warm up before riding in extreme cold Be extra cautious on icy patches Ride slower than normal Practice in safe areas first
