Various of refugees arriving at border STORYLINE: Ukrainian refugees continued to cross into Poland via the Medyka border on Wednesday after fleeing the Russian invasion. Among them was 66-year-old Anna Makarovna, who said she left the eastern city of Kramatorsk after a devastating strike on its train station. At least 52 people, mainly women and children trying to evacuate the city, were killed when a missile hit the station on April 9. Makarovna said she had wanted to leave heavily damaged Kramatorsk that day, but chose to delay her travel. The International Organization for Migration estimated more than 12 million people are stranded in areas of Ukraine under attack.
