The terrain of the route was a combination of arable field and pasture paths, sunken paths, country lanes, woodland paths. The walking was easy on either level ground or gentle to moderate slopes. Route finding was easy with obvious paths, good waymarking and good landmarks. Fields was have livestock in them and the sunken paths may be overgrown and very muddy in places.
