Comic Book HAUL What Do I Collect? Q&A, Buying Strategies, Organizing Your Comic Collection

Throughout the year I'll buy comic books and do comic haul videos, but sometimes there are not enough to warrant having their own video. This video will cover all the purchases I've made over the year into one. I track all my purchases in a spreadsheet, and I tend to keep my books fairly well organized so they're easy to find. I tend to make my larger purchases at sales, and I follow a number of different stores in Toronto and keep an eye out on when they have sales. I don't have a particular focus on what I buy, but I have a tendency to purchase what I think are good value buys. I like older comic books, comic books that are pre-1980, but if it's cheap, I'll buy anything. It feels these days you can find a lot of really good deals if you're patient, many dealers are willing to make a deal. Looking at the purchases I've made over the year, it feels like it's a pretty good time to buy old comic books. Perhaps not as much for key comic books, as there certainly seems to be a move to collect just keys, but non-key filler run stuff seems to be pretty reasonable.
