LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland to host career and resource

The Plexus LGBT & Allied Chamber of Commerce and the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland are partnering to host an upcoming LGBTQ+ career and resource fair in Cleveland. Taking place on Saturday, March 29 at the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland, Plexus LGBTQ+ Career & Resource Fair is designed to empower and "provide a safe, inclusive space for individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ to explore career opportunities, connect with inclusive employers, and access resources to help them thrive professionally," according to a press released shared with 3News. Phyllis Harris, Executive Director of the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland said, "Now more than ever, LGBTQ+ individuals need spaces where they are seen, valued, and given real opportunities to thrive. Discrimination and inequities still exist in the workplace, and events like this are critical in creating pathways to stability and success." Through workshops, panel discussions, and one-on-one mentoring, participants can enhance their resumes, develop interview skills, and refine their personal branding and job search strategies. The fair also facilitates direct connections with employers committed to diversity and inclusion, creating a supportive and empowering environment.
