NOMEDA KAZLAUS - an international opera diva and the only Lithuanian singer to have performed leading roles on the world’s major stages alongside the Spanish legend MONTSERRAT CABALLE. Nomeda Kazlaus has appeared in leading roles in many European opera houses, her operatic repertoire comprises title roles ranging from Wagner's Isolde and Brunhilde to Verdi's Elisabetta and Beethoven's Leonore. Nomeda Kazlaus is also TV host, producer, vocal professor, mentor, jury chair and member of many international vocal competitions and TV projects, including Eurovision in Lithuania. In 2024, she was the mentor and teacher of the winning contestants of the international television project “The Voice of Lithuania. Generations”. Nomeda Kazlaus is author, producer and host of the “Skambantys pasauliai su Nomeda Kazlaus” (The Ringing Worlds with Nomeda Kazlaus) TV talk show series at the Lithuanian National TV where she interviews world - famous music, culture and art personalities like Sarah Brightman, Andrea Bocelli, Plácido Domingo and many others. Nomeda Kazlaus is a Founder and Artistic Director of the international annual Nomeda Kazlaus Summer Academy of Vocal Technique in Palanga, Lithuania. She is an active officer of Rotary Lithuania D1462: 2025–2027 – Assistant Governor for Vilnius and Vilnius Region Rotary Clubs; current President of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Lithuania–Italy; 2023–2024 – President of the Vilniaus Perkūno Rotary Club. Nomeda Kazlaus is a member of several charitable organizations and also actively engaged in public and cultural advocacy. Opera soloist Nomeda Kazlaus is the ambassador - representative of the Montserrat Caballe family in Lithuania, the only Lithuanian who has sung the main roles and duets with the opera legend Montserrat Caballé, who was immortalized together in the documentary film "Caballé Beyond the Music" (2003, Morena Fima), participated in the German television " On ARTE TV's "Caballé prasentiert Stars von Morgen" hosted by the prima donna herself, it was also chronicled in other international publications. Montserrat Caballe's daughter Montserrat Marti (Spain) and soprano Nomeda Kazlaus, both of whom have sung a lot in the world with M. Caballe, perform music on stage.
