And here's Side 2! The last CED side ever made, it fittingly opens with the original SelectaVision intro (the best home video intro ever!). The first half of the side is a tour of both the disc pressing facility at Rockville Road in Indianapolis and the player production facility in Bloomington. This part had first appeared on Side 2 of the extremely-rare "Video Communications, Edition 3", but it's definitely more fitting being on Memories. After the tour, we get a credit roll of everyone associated with the videodisc program. Then onto one last (powerful, to boot) slideshow of the major milestones set to the finale of the 1812 Overture. The disc ends with the last of the people leaving the factory for the last time, and the doors being locked. (In actuality, the facility was still used up until '87 to press records, hence why they were able to get back in and press this disc.) Some of the stills on this side exhibit the same glitches as on Side 1 (there's a really bad one in the last slideshow; guess there was no time for redoes on this one). This side was played back in straight stereo on an SGT-250 to show how the audio on the disc is recorded (for completeness' sake); the tour in the beginning will appear as mono on an auto-detect player, but you're listening to how it's actually recorded on the disc. Interestingly, the SelectaVision intro appears as stereo on the G250 and does come out of the front speakers, but the material's of course in mono.
