The Citi Double Cash Back credit card typically comes without a sign up bonus offer, so if you are looking to add this credit card to your wallet soon, maybe now is the time to do so since this is a pretty rare opportunity. For a limited time, and that’s if you’re lucky enough to see it in the first place, you can earn two hundred dollars ($200) in cash back after spending fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500) on purchases within the first 6 months after account opening. That two hundred dollars ($200) in cash back will be the equivalent of twenty thousand Thank You Points. In addition to the cash welcome offer, there is a zero percent (0%) APR for eighteen months (18) from the date of your first transfer for balance transfers completed within four (4) months of account opening. Based on this language, it does not look like this applies to any purchases made on the card, so be prepared to pay your balances in full every month, as you should do regardless. The Citi Double Cash Back credit card is an important no annual fee catch all credit card that gives you the opportunity to earn two percent (2%) cash back. Notice that I said “opportunity”. That’s because that two percent comes with a contingency. You’ll earn one percent (1%) when you buy and one percent (1%) as you pay. And to earn the cash back, you have to pay at least the minimum due, ON TIME. If you use your credit card like I use mine, then, you won’t have an issue with this because I don’t believe in leaving a balance on any credit card. My balances are paid in full every single month, which means that, I don’t charge what I cannot afford to pay off in full.
