I Ordered A Broken Nintendo 64 for $20 with two games without controllers + Super Nintendo as a gift. The Nintendo 64 was released on June 23, 1996, in Japan In this video I will restore the Nintendo 64 back to work again, the console doesn't show any sound or picture at all. The Nintendo 64 is a system that generally doesn't have a lot of issues since it doesn't have any moving parts inside, but they still pop up broken on eBay. Today I wanted to take a look at one that was listed as broken, but it turned out to be the easiest fix for me so far. To disassemble the device, a special screwdriver is needed, because Nintendo puts safety screws that need a special screwdriver. Such screws can be found in many Nintendo consoles. The N64 has a ton of different types of screws so it's especially important to make sure I know where they go once I'm putting it back together. When I tried the device, it turned on and the power led lit up, this is a good sign in most old devices. This is the reason for the presence of dust between some of the connecting pins under the game port which could affect the console.
