Last time, I shared some beautiful cherry blossoms from Yamanashi. This time, I'd love to focus more on the journey itself—the trip along the "Kaiji" route. I took the Limited Express Kaiji from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo to Kofu Station in Yamanashi and really enjoyed the ride. It’s actually a pretty quick and pleasant trip. I hope you’ll enjoy coming along for the ride, too! As for the cherry blossoms themselves—like those at Jissoji Temple in Hokuto (home to one of Japan’s three most famous cherry trees) and the Wani-Tsuka cherry tree in Nirasaki—I covered them in detail in the previous video, so be sure to check it out if you haven’t already! The cherry blossom season is still making its way north across Japan. Pretty soon, the Sakura at Hirosaki Park in Aomori will be in full bloom—and then it’ll be Hokkaido’s turn.
