How I prep wood for acrylic painting | Making cute gifts

I enjoy painting on wood using acrylic. Acrylic dries really fast and looks really pretty on wood panels. In this video I'm showing you some of my paintings on wood and also sharing how I prepare my wood surface for painting. You don't need to get fancy wood panels from art supply stores. There are many cheaper alternatives if you want to try something small first to see if you like it. I used some wood squares that I got from Michael's for less than $2 each.
