In this video, First Grade students at Guilford Elementary in Greensboro, NC go through Lesson 3: Planting Our Seeds from the STC™ Organisms Unit. Follow along as the students plant peas, kidney beans, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds. See them start their "planting cards" - the tools they will use to record the seeds growth and development over the next several weeks - and watch them begin brainstorming about starting a school garden! STC is a complete inquiry science curriculum for grades K-8 developed by the National Science Resources Center to meet national science standards.
