-Make sure to Like, Comment, Subscribe-- Ever heard of the Honda Super Magna? Maybe you have. Super Magna was never the official name... think of it as 'an enthusiasts designation' The proper name was the Honda VF700c Magna. Some people call it the Honda Magna 700. If you shopped around for one of these, you've seen other Honda Magnas. Those were probably the Honda Magna 750. Why would anyone want a 700 instead of the 750? Why did they lower the displacement? Good question. They didn't just all of a sudden think it was a bright idea to make the engine smaller. What happened was, there was a tariff on bikes imported into the US having an engine displacement of 700cc or bigger. Honda had to work around that, so they came up with the Honda VF700c Magna (699cc). Using their expert engineering, they gave it a couple MORE horsepower, and made a few other changes to make it better. The result was the quick and relatively light cruiser that we call the Super Magna. They are known for the aluminum rear wheel and the stylish quad exhaust. And the V4 still sounded great and ran smooth. It's a solid cruiser if you can get your hands on one.
