In this hunt I’m bow hunting goats and wild pigs in the red dirt country of Western New South Wales. I spend the day driving and checking dams to see what animals are using the water, reading tracks and sign before making a move. Once I find fresh activity, I stalk into the dams with the bow, slow and quiet, then sit and wait as the country comes alive. Out here, water is everything, and patience is just as important as the shot. This is raw, real Australian bow hunting — no shortcuts, just time in the bush and playing the wind.
