This was one of those Holy Sh*t Moments!!! This bird thankfully this time departed on 30L and not 30R! This is also the first time we have had a UAL 747 Globe livery at SJC! It was so Loud and it also created a hell of a lot of dust! This thing is so big that the engine number 4 actually broke a runway light with its thrust! The glass caused that runway to be shut down for a while but I still can't believe that happened! I also would have gotten more taxi shots while it was back taxiing but the Sierra Pacific 732 was departing on 30L cause the 744 was on 30R so he used 30L to depart I wouldn't pass up filming that! We also had Hawaiian Depart on 30L and ill explain why that happened when I upload that footage! Anyways, Enjoy and more to come!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Plane: Boeing 747-422 Registration: N175UA Airline: United Airlines Flight Number: UAL1885 Origin: Mineta San Jose International KSJC Destination: Birmingham - Shuttlesworth International KBHM Flight Time: 3 Hours, 29 Minutes Runway: 30L Spotting Location: Airport Blvd. Date: 8/1/2014 Time: 10:40 A.M.
