🌊 Welcome to Day 1 of our Cape Lookout Overlanding Adventure! 🏕️ In this episode, we load up our overland rigs and ferry out to one of the most remote and rugged spots on the East Coast — Cape Lookout National Seashore in North Carolina. This isn’t your average beach trip. With no bridges, no pavement, and no backup plan, this North Carolina Overlanding journey is all about self-reliance, grit, and exploring wild terrain. As we land on the island, we hit the sand running — carving tracks along the surf and racing the rising tide to reach the northern tip of the island. Our goal? An epic oceanfront Cape Lookout camping spot for the night. But as darkness falls, so does our luck. A massive coastal storm rolls in, pounding our beach camp with high winds and heavy rain.
