It's been almost 2 years since we last went home to the Philippines. Time flies so fast that we barely feel that today is the day that we will finally see our friends and relatives back home. I am so excited to go home; at the same time, we will have a 28-hour layover in Singapore, where we will have a longer time to explore the country. Singapore is one of my mom's dream countries; she has been very vocal about telling us that she wants to visit Merlion. Finally one of her dreams will come true.
