C5-C6 BRACKET WITH BILLET TENSIONER INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT

This is a quick tech help video about how to adjust belt tension using the current style billet tensioner bracket on C5 or C6. Most important thing to remember is to put the tensioner locking pin in the billet tensioner to pre-load it, then crank the belt tight using the swing tensioner up top near the SC pulley. DO NOT tighten it as tight as you can get it. The ideal tension is when the upper swing tensioner is locked down, the locking pin still has load on it, but it's almost loose enough to barely turn it with your fingers. This puts the tensioner in the middle of its travel. Then you can slightly rotate the tensioner and pull the locking pin back out. Also note the small black Allen bolt shouldn't be touched, it is a travel limiter for the inside of the tensioner.
