There comes a point in life when we stop seeing the stars as “just” stars… so this song is for everyone who has one (or more) stars in the sky.. someone who used to shine right beside you and now shines from above. I remember my dad taking me camping when I was a kid. I was around eight, and it still feels magical in my mind. We never did it again, but that day stayed with me as a really sweet memory. Years later, we visited a town with a maze, and it was such a fun day.. I treasure that one too. My dad was a total homebody; he didn’t love going out. He was happiest with the whole family at home on a Sunday: big lunch, everyone together, lots of laughter. He wasn’t into photos, videos even less. And what hurts now is wishing I’d snapped a picture of every little moment and filmed all the tiny things. We all think we’ll have more time… until we don’t.
