When we received the invitation from Bablu da, Sri Kingshuk Mukherjee, had no reason to deny but it brought joy to heart and mind. Planned almost instantly even dropping the earlier plan for HP. Just a note for the viewers, this was an invitation and not a paid promotion, we were honored with the kind invitation from Bablu da, owner of Resort Gorumara Nest, South Dhupjhora and travelled to Dooars once again on 3rd of Sept, 2021. For next 6 days we would travel to various unconventional or rather offbeat as usually referred, locations of this region, often referred as western Dooars, our tour concluded with our journey in Vista Dome coach of Tourist Special Train from NJP to Alipurduar Jn. In this first part of the series, I will provide you brief introduction to Dooars along with that you will get to know about this amazing personality Bablu da then our travel experience for the first 2 days. Dooars is best experienced during the end period of monsoon, such green shades of color could not be found in other seasons, the rivers are full with rain water flowing with tremendous current, truly beauty of Dooars could be seen only during this time.
