Below are few disclaimers, extra info and calendar timings for projects and my role on them. First things first, awesome music by Void Vertex, check out the artist’s other work. DISCLAIMER: Short video inserts are property of respective game, product companies & movie studios, and are NOT my animations, but a result of a collective team work, a part of which I was fortunate to be. INFO NOTE #1: Quite a few projects overlapped through different years. For the sake of flow of the video I gathered up the images for any single project for any given year where most of the work was done. INFO NOTE #2: The video doesn’t mention a few cancelled & unannounced movies, some secret robotics projects I can’t talk about and Machine Instinct (indie game I was working on that was reusing a lot of the Black Phoenix Project art I created in early 2010s) INFO NOTE #3: Software: Most of the work is pure 3D art I created using either Softimage XSI, Zbrush, Moi3D or all of them together and rendered either in Keyshot or Octane. The few 2D concepts were done in Photoshop. Black Widow Spider Tank – Major overhaul of personal art pipeline, integrating SubD, CAD modeling and Zbrush digital sculpting all in one pipeline Terminator Genisys – Updated design of the iconic Stan Winston’s T-800 using latest 3D modeling technology YEAR 2015: Work on cancelled Tron: Legacy movie sequel (not mentioned in the video) A lot more personal art and experiments, major progress on Ultraborg series. Hankook Mirae Technology – Method 1 Early Developments and concept designs YEAR 2016: Ghost in The Shell – Lead Concept Artist YEAR 2017: Dedicating more time on personal art and dark sci-fi explorations Alita Battle Angel – Alita Concept Designer Hankook Mirae Technology – Method 2 Principle Designer, robotic explorations YEAR 2018: Boston Dynamics – Concept/Industrial Design, Atlas exterior shells update and work on unannounced projects Hankook Mirae, Technology – More concept art and reveal of functioning Method 2 YEAR 2019: 2019 is where most of the character/prop art was done on Mortal Shell, dark fantasy action RPG nominated for Game Debut of the Year in 2020.
