"RIVERS OF NAZARETH" (Extreme Demon) by AudieoVisual | Geometry Dash 2.2

If you're a subscriber of AudieoVisual, you will have seen him streaming for over 40 days straight creating this. Streaming his creations is nothing new, but the dedication to do it that frequently is something else, and I recommend subscribing to him to see great creating content. What makes this level special, though, is the fact that it's his first Extreme Demon level. He is also verifying it himself as we speak, which isn't too common for levels at this difficulty. It's always super cool to see creators challenge themselves in this way, leading to an even more special project where every stage of the level is handled by the creator. It starts off with a black and yellow color scheme, which reminds me of parts of "CUT DEEP", one of his previous levels. However, it quickly starts diverging from this, with blue and pink mixed in color-wise. As always, I find AudieoVisual's color usage very pleasant. Aside from good color mixing at all times, it also pulses and changes for nice synchronization to the music. Various effects in the background and foreground also contribute to this, with 1:03 being perhaps the best example of this. What sets this apart from his other levels most, though, is the symbolism and text used. From what I can tell, it's all Arabic, with "hamsa" being seen if you die, for example. This would also make a lot of sense with the level name. I couldn't have imagined an AudieoVisual level with imagery like this before, but it makes it quite unique and helps it stand out from his other works. The combination of these visuals with the aforementioned colors and effects work surprisingly well. As for the gameplay, it's gonna be an Extreme Demon as mentioned, but an easier one at that. I've seen a lot of people playtesting it, and with AudieoVisual's typically good gameplay, I can only imagine this being enjoyable to play for most people. It will be fun to see how it's received on that end publicly. All in all, this is another banger added to AudieoVisual's catalog, with enough differences from his other recent bangers to make it special. This will definitely get at least an Epic rating, but possibly even higher. Finally, special thanks to AudieoVisual for asking me about showcasing this using his recording.
