Historic Mission Santa Cruz | Then and Now

Join Kendall as he takes you to Mission Santa Cruz. This includes looking inside the replica chapel built in 1931 and the old Native quarters building that's now the San Cruz Mission State Historic Park. We'll learn about how this mission was founded by Fermin Francisco de Lasuen, when the native tribes such as the Amah Mutsun and Yokut people of the Central Valley were brought in, and what happened after the mission shut down. All of this and the history of Mission Hill's other unique landmark; Tunnel 8 which is now part of the Santa Cruz, Big Trees, and Pacific Railroad. It's going to be a fun day exploring this unique corner of California History.
