When I interviewed Jake Adams of Reef Builders, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that his pick for the best product of the Reef A Palooza show wasn't lights, pumps, skimmers or controller but an accessory. (because he's exposed to so many products and there were so many products available at the show) I had to go to their booth and check this out for myself. As technology advanced throughout the years, cellphones have become extremely popular method to take pictures and videos of our aquariums and it's inhabitants. Whether we are showing off our new additions, growth of our animals or simply asking for simple help, it's undeniable that it has a big part in our hobby. Following and listening to the needs of the hobbyists, during ReefAPaloozaNY, Polyplab (creators of Reef Roid food) released gel filter package for cell phones. In my personal opinion, they have gone above and beyond to create a kit that will bring the colors of the corals as accurate as possible given the limitation of filters. In the kit, you will find 10000k filter and different shade of 15000k filter to adjust to your light as needed as well as including a 10x macro lens filter for close up shot for macro photography or zoom up shot to identify a problem on our corals.
