Riding Capital Metro, MetroRail Red Line (train model: 2008 Stadler) from Downtown Austin to Crestview Station. This 34 miles train (54 km) commuter rail line, that starts from Downtown Austin and terminates at Leander (north of Austin). PROJECT CONNECT - METRORAIL RED LINE In the future, Cap Metro is going to expand the MetroRail Red Line by adding more trains, and adding more stations along the rail line. In addition, this rail line will connect to other MetroRail lines (Orange and Blue lines). The Blue Line will terminate at Austin International Airport. Houston METRO's Park & Ride (PR) Service is the best service that METRO provides. But I feel that the service is declining because most of the time, the PR buses are stuck in traffic and it can hold max of 55 passengers. On the other hand, commuter rail has the right-away (and fast) and can carry more passengers (more than 100).
