Villa N by GHA - Giordano Hadamik Architects - Liguria Villa N, located on the hills overlooking the Gulf of Imperia, is an extraordinary example of contemporary architecture integrated into the Ligurian landscape. Designed by Giordano Hadamik Architects, this 250 square meter single-family residence blends into the natural context of the terraces, thanks to natural stone facades, a green roof and large openings that frame spectacular views of the valley and the sea. The villa is composed of two semi-hypogeal volumes that follow the morphology of the land, minimizing the visual and environmental impact and enhancing landscape elements such as a monumental oak tree, an olive grove and a small stream. The interior design is characterized by essential lines and high-quality materials, such as oak wood, natural stone and concrete flooring. The common areas, designed to encourage conviviality and relaxation, include a large open space with living room, kitchen and dining room. Here, a corner window measuring over six metres creates a direct visual connection with the panorama. The bedrooms, oriented to the east to capture the morning light, have direct access to the garden via terraces protected by sunshades, while the bathrooms, clad in Cardoso stone, are lit from above and complemented by custom-made furnishings. The exterior of the villa is enriched by a wooden solarium, an infinity pool and a patio with barbecue and aromatic herb garden. These elements create a continuum between inside and outside, amplifying the feeling of immersion in nature. Local and sustainable materials, such as excavated stone and gravel, have been used to reduce the environmental impact, while the green roof and renewable energy systems contribute to making the building highly energy efficient. Every detail, from the fixed furniture to the recessed fixtures, has been designed by the studio, reflecting a harmonious vision of functionality, aesthetics and sustainability. The house is a place of refuge and contemplation, where contemporary architecture intertwines with the Mediterranean landscape, offering a high-quality living experience in complete harmony with the environment.
