I wanna be real, and for someone to notice, I am a walking T.V screen, only watched never truly seen, I bring you the tragic news and you watch me so serene with your 9-5pm problems as children in Cambodia scream for this bucket of water that fills the empty palm springs hidden in the seams of my hand. and I wake up, I drink metaphors in my coffee cup and I feel God in the aftermath of my saliva, that morning mildew of my mistakes that lingers in my awake and haunts me. Jesus died on the cross, and Im dying everyday, I loaned my heart to my dreams and now Im waiting to get paid and I sit and I wait in the time capsule of my soul, my mind is a tree, paper thin thoughts fill your library books, so my spirit will never grow old and I paint. Paint this town black for it is the only rainbow I know, I am a piano with no keys, a puppet with broken strings, and everybody is waiting for a show. And I cry. Cry for the record player that rends inside of me to the rhythm of James Blake and wilhelm screams " I dont know about my life, I dont know about my dreaming any more, all that i know is Im falling, falling falling falling" and I fall.
