Thank you for watching and please subscribe for more of my hiking adventures. ********************* Iceline Trail could be done as a loop or out-and-back hike in different directions. We did a clockwise loop starting from Takakkaw Parking Lot to Iceline trail then Little Yoho Valley Trail and Yoho Valley Trail, then looped back to where we started. This hike is also popular for backpacking as it is equipped with many campgrounds which connect to several trails such as the Highland trail to Yoho Lake and Emerald Lake area, Kiwetinok Pass Trail to the President's range and Bow Yoho traverse. Stunning views of Daly Glacier, Waputik Icefield, Emerald Glacier, Wapta Mountain, President's range, Takakkaw Falls and Laughing Falls await you on this hike, considered one of the best in Yoho National Park. Statistics: Distance: 23.4 km (this includes a little detour to the Kiwetinok Pass Trail) Elevation Gain: 1,053 m. (per All Trails stat) Highest Point: 2,225 m.
