I was commissioned by the music division of CreativeTT* (MusicTT) to direct and produce an Industry Panel Discussion with representatives from Trinidad & Tobago who attended the 2015 South by South West Festival. MusicTT’s Industry Panelists were John Arnold, Kris Granger, Simon Baptiste, Joey Ng Wai, Kasey Phillips and Ataklan. Client: Creative TT (Music) Director: Jermold Compton Producers: Jeanelle Frontin and Jermold Compton Video/Audio Editor: Jermold Compton 1st AD/Coordinator: Jeanelle Frontin 1st AS: Ryan Lee Boom Operator: Ryan Lee Videographers: Jermold Compton, Christian Compton, Ryan Lee Animation: Jermold Compton Music: Keron Thompson Makeup: Narvely Labastide Host: Tishanna Williams Host Wardrobe: Bene Caribe Set: Drink Lounge & Bistro Given their hectic schedules, we had a very short window of time (less than 1.5 days) to arrange and execute this production. Given the tight deadlines, limited budget, and the challenging location chosen, we managed to pull off the production successfully thanks to the great team of people we worked with. The final output from the production was a 45min full-length video, which was further edited into more digestible shorts for digital media distribution. *About CreativeTT: The Trinidad and Tobago Creative Industries Company Limited (CreativeTT) is a wholly owned State enterprise established by The Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago through the Ministry of Trade and Industry. CreativeTT’s mandate is to stimulate and facilitate the business development and export activities of the Creative Industries in Trinidad and Tobago to generate national wealth and, as such, the company is responsible for the strategic and business development of the three (3) niche areas and subsectors under its purview- Music, Film, Fashion.
