Narratives: An Ambient Live Set with Elektron Digitone 2 // Brumarena

A few months ago when I acquired the Digitone 2 I had a clear goal in mind: limit myself to using only this device until I learn all its ins and outs, compose a few ideas, and set out to build my first ambient live set. Today, I present "Narratives", which is also the backbone of my upcoming album. I am very happy to be sharing this live set with you today, which goes through different soundscapes, some ethereal and luminous, others more solemn and broken. All compositions are original and were made and performed entirely on the Digitone 2, with the only exception being a piano VST used in one of the tracks. Though still some fine-tuning to be done in a few elements, I'm quite satisfied with the result! An almost DAWless set, it was recorded in a single take into Ableton, which was also being used as an FX processor. Finally, a little bit of mixing and mastering in post.
