The Sehat Effectors Tone Weed is the company's ultimate germanium fuzz pedal circuit, developed through years of trial, error, blood, and tears (and other bodily fluids). It's housed in a gorgeous handmade red mahogany enclosure, and built in the grand tradition of classic germanium fuzz boxes of yore. The Tone Weed fuzz is an unapologetic sustain and harmonics machine, with fat, syrupy, lava-like gain textures and upper octaves and ghostly harmonics that seem to pop up out of nowhere. The simple control set consists of output, tone, and gain/texture. It works equally well on bass or guitar. In this demo video, I employ the Sehat Effectors Tone Weed on both Fender Bass VI and a Hallmark 60 Custom Mosrite-style guitar in a noise rock / psych band context, then I get into the controls to give you a taste of what the Tone Weed is capable of.
